Basic training courses
The course runs for 6 weeks and is suitable for most dogs between 4 and 8 months, although the instructor will advise you if you need to move up a class.
Following the puppy training course you can further your dog's education by attending the basic/juvenile class. You continue to build the relationship by reinforcing the skills you have already taught your puppy.
The instructor assists you to teach your dog the skills required to be a good companion.
You will learn how to teach your dog the sit, down, recall, lead walking, door manners and a stay. All methods used are kind and fair using food, toys, play and praise. Handling, grooming and general care skills are also demonstrated.
The instructor will also be able to answer questions you may have about your dog's training and care.
